Fundraising

If You Are Holding A Fundraising Event:

Here are some useful tips:

If you would like acknowledgement from the Hospital before your event, perhaps to show to potential sponsors, then please do get in touch using the details contained on the contacts page or email our Treasurer at friendsofstleonards@gmail.com

Consider the “extra value” the Gift Aid scheme could make to individual donations. Please see the donations page click here to read more

A suggested sponsorship form can be found by clicking here. This is designed for sponsored events or events where donations to the charity are collected. The use of this form allows the Charity to make a Gift Aid claim against the “taxman”. Please feel free to duplicate and use this form as appropriate.

A “single donation” form has also been included, click here to download.

Companies or employers making donations may be able to claim tax relief in respect of their donation contact our Treasurer at friendsofstleonards@gmail.com for further details.

Details of the ways you can pay over the money you have raised are given in the donations page.

Please note it is illegal to make door-to-door collections.

If you would like to arrange a presentation to the hospital, ward or any department please do contact us. We would like to organise media coverage of such presentations because this encourages others to think of making a donation. However if you would prefer your presentation to be private we will be happy to respect your wishes.
