2011 May Fair Event Gallery

We held our May Fair on the 28th of May 2011

There were lots of things to see and do. There were stalls to buy from and tours of the Hospital. The day was fun packed with Tombola, crafts, food and drinks!

All the fun at the May Fair. For those of you who joined us we hope you had a wonderful time!

What a great day! When we saw the weather it was OH OH!!; but being St Leonards Hospital we were lucky as we could all be inside in the warm.

We welcomed our Mayor John Muggleton and his escort daughter Sandra Bird. The Mayor opened the fair and did a tour taking time to talk to all the stall holders.

Thank you John.

Outside braving the elements were the Shetland ponies. The Police Quod bikes the Plants, Face painting Tombola and teas and coffee.

Inside we had a raffle, jewellery, cakes, make up, perfume, paint a biscuit in icing, wood turned goods, home made signs, cup candles, jewellery, soaps, bags. toys and many more something for everyone.

Linda Barber won the TV that was donated by Holman’s of Ferndown and Wimborne. Therefore, our great thanks go to Holman’s.

What a wonderful day we all had, and we would like to thank the stallholders and you the public for making it such a great day.

I would like to personally thank all of the friends and the staff of the hospital for helping to make the day such a success.

Also it was a pleasure to welcome our Mayor John Muggleton and Sandra,He kindly put on his full robes to visit our patients who are currently residing in St Leonards, our patients were very excited to see the Mayor and were still talking about it the next day.

Little things like this along with all the kindness that the staff show all our patients go a long way to helping there recovery so we thank John and the Staff.

Special thanks go to Rayne Keogh, Matron Teresa North for doing such a great job. Thanks go to Linda Barber for coming along and helping us for the day.; and she ended up winning the star prize. How lucky was that!

All of our stall holders pushed the boat out as usual and I thank you all. Look after yourselves and we look forward to seeing you all at our Christmas fair.
